I ordered these to tram a new CNC router, and when considering these and other dial indicators I ultimately went with these because they stated that they had an interchangeable flat and lug back plate on them. They DO NOT come with the flat back they only have the lug back which does not fit in the tramming bar being used.The packaging that they are packed in also does not have much protection for them when being shipped over the roads and being subject to stresses from being bounced around during transit. The boxes are that flimsy that after opening one to inspect them for damages the box is pretty much destroyed and now cannot be returned to amazon for a refund.These are very low end and have now cost me more time and money to rectify this and find a suitable replacement to tram a machine that is going to sit longer and not be able to put into service as expected. They should at least make sure that there are flat backs included with the purchase so they may be used with all the tramming bars on the market.
