These are real nice values lite weight but heavy duty. The control knows makes things easier. Feels like great quality.

My old HF gauge manifold service valves began leaking about a year ago. This was a pain because it caused them to spray hose pressure out as soon as I disconnected them from the vehicle.Swapping the new Tigbear service valves out with my original Harbor Freight ones was a breeze. A little bit of Teflon tape was first wrapped around the thread of each valve stub, and then my gauge hoses were threaded on firmly to the valves. They turn fairly smooth and do not leak a single bit during servicing or when removed and still under hose pressure only. They actually seated tight and held pressure at all times.Im a happy customer. Five stars for great fit and function. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They are pretty similar to the valve that came with my kit. They are a good replacement for a broken valve, or good add-on if your manifold kit did not come with them. The valve is a nice extra, it is good to have them closed when connecting in case the hose were not tightened enough. The valve opening and closing direction may not be what you expect, but this is indicated on the knob. No Teflon is necessary since the hoses have a Teflon seat inside them, hand tight is sufficient, but I always check them since they tend to get looser when storing the manifold.

These did the job, but since this was the first time I worked on R134A systems, I wasn't confident in which way was open and closed. I also had a problem with the can tap I bought not releasing refrigerant, so I had to open and close the valves many times. It was frustrating to barely be able to tell which way is open and which way is closed.
