We bought these for our show rabbits and chickens because these are the cages we see at the ARBA shows. Our animals stayed clean for show with the wire bottom, the solid tray under it kept the car clean, and it was easy to clean up afterwards. The handles made it easy for carrying.My only two things was that our first one was smaller than expected so I measured more carefully before ordering our next one. And it is the same cage lid for all three so we had to get the one chicken out quickly before the other two birds got loose. But, these are designed for rabbits anyways.

Wire bottom cages/carriers hurt rabbits. They don’t have calluses on the feet like cats, dogs, etc. So these exact style carriers & cages cause sore hocks, which can be debilitating. Small rabbits frequently get a toe/foot caught, resulting in a broke bone. If you’re using something like this, you NEED a solid bottom sitting over the “floor” grating.
