The fast charger port quit working after a couple months. It will charge for a second or two, then quit. The slow charger port still works but at least the radar detector work still.But the whole purpose of me mine this was to be able to charge my phone on fast charger

I have owned a power adapters for radar detectors over the years, for both personal and work vehicles. All have had the same issue, the power cord is loosely connected to the rj11 connector that connects to the detector itself. Sitting in the sun over time compromises that connection until the adapter eventually fails. This adapter is molded to the rj11 connector, making the shoddy connection a problem of the past. Hopefully this cord stands the test of time. I will update my review after I test the cord over the course of a few months.

works very well, the USB jacks eliminated clumsy socket spliter that was using. I was getting Escort service required messages occasional before, now they are gone, maybe my worn out OEM cords were bad in some way such as voltage or the insualtion on the lines causing some crossover voltage, leakage or short circuits, in any case this new aftermarket adapter worked fine on 8500x x50 red and blue and on solo escort

So I ordered this product in fear that my $400+ Cobra Road Scout radar detector was going to end up in the trash after only about 2 yrs of ownership as it had suddenly stopped turning on. I feared the Tx heat had taken its toll on it but I checked the power source (the cigarette lighter plug that contained an USB plug as well), and even the USB plug wasn’t working so that in itself told me it had to have been the plug that was defective and not the device itself. I ordered this new power cord in hopes that it would fix my problem. Not only did it fix my problem but it also came accompanied by a universal USB cord that works for both lightning plugs AND micro usb!!! I had no idea I would be receiving the additional cord, but it was very much appreciated!!! They all work like a champ!

I give this power cord 5 stars because it powered my Max 360 with no issues, I'm confused by the people stating you can't mark a location like your original cord. It doesn't have that feature like the original so just mark the location you want stored physically on the top of the detector.

Usb port is bent or something the usb will not enter the QC port. Brand new out of the box defective port and the cable is an included lightning cable. Used my own cables and the port still will not accept the usb. Quality is bad with this
