These mirror taps are great for easy power access and I've used the straight ones with great success but someone is having an issue disconnecting and not pulling the pins out so I'm going to try the coiled cable style.These are well made with three sizes of connector pins depending on the vehicle and they are insulated. The other end is the typical RJ11 connector.They are advertised as fused and have a plastic bulb on the wires but no indication of the fuse or rating and they don't appear to be serviceable. Since the old one was not fused it is okay for me but if that is something you require you may want to ask the vendor for the specs.
