I’ve used these cables before, in conjunction with a mirror mount. Almost all of them suffer from the same problem — except this cable. Any other mirror cable I’ve used, the press-in wires are too big to fit in the tiny holes in most mirror harnesses, and you end up having to slice.This cable comes with a pair of adapters with tiny pins that the larger wires can plug into. It made the whole installation tool-less. Also, the cable itself is top quality. Even the RJ-11 plug is made with high quality plastic — I’ve used cheaper cables, where it feels like the plastic clip couod break any time. Not this one!

Worthless. The prongs bent as i was using extremely light pressure and ended up breaking when i attempted to straighten them out.

Was very easy to install. Did have to Google it to easily find the correct wires to tie in to. This, along with the mirror mounting bracket, makes my Escort radar detector look custom installed, no unsightly wires, and in a location that doesn’t obstruct views but is easily seen when needed.

Item is well made, with very good contacts and heatshrink. However, the leads are just not long enough to make consistent contact with the appropriate points in my 2011 BMW 135i mirror plugs. I could get an initial good contact, but when I went to put it all back together, they would lose contact.
