Bought this to install on my 1989 F150 with Inline 6 motor. Bolted directly onto the factory fan clutch. My truck originally came with the 5 bladed fan which barely got the job done. These extra two blades keep my A/C running in the summer and keep the coolant temp from creeping at lights.I will add, I got my truck and a PO had already removed the fan shroud, so this is improvements WITHOUT a fan shroud. I imagine I might have to actually install a higher temp thermostat if I put a shroud back into the truck.
