WiFi Connectivity
By simply plugging in a Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module (sold separately), users can access, operate and monitor their irrigation system from anywhere. Internet-based weather information is used to make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule, saving up to 30% in water.
Flow Monitoring
Compatible with multiple sizes and makes of wired flow sensors for flow monitoring and notifications to save water and protect against property damage.
Bypass Rain Sensor by Station
Bypass the rain sensor for stations under an eave or deck or in a greenhouse for consistent watering.
Seasonal Adjust by Program
Save water by changing the seasonal adjust from 5% to 200% for corrected run times without changing the scheduled times.
One-Touch Watering
With the dial in the AUTO position, just press and hold the right arrow button to start manually watering the current program.
Contractor Default
Simply save a default program and if the original watering schedule is overwritten in error, easily restore it in just two steps.
Programming Recommendation
Rain Bird recommends that the maximum irrigation zone cycle time be less than the time required for runoff to begin and that there be adequate soak time before the next irrigation cycle of that same zone begins again.

This controller has all the features I was looking for. I added the WIFI module and the rain/freeze sensor. I am able to adjust the timing with my mobile and run one or all zones on the fly if needed. The rain gauge has adjustable trigger and delay. This is going to save me in the long run. Additionally I replaced this from a working Rain Bird controller which has run flawlessly for 17 years. Having the new features and option to add more zones, like one for my garden only, is why I upgraded.

My Lawn guy recommended this controller and unfortunately he was very busy and could not install it for a while. He suggested I do it myself and talked me through how to do it. I replaced my 20 year old Toro controller with my wife and we did it in 35 minutes. Labeled all the wires with a Sharpie on the Toro(a lot larger one) then punched the punch out on the back of the Rainbird and pulled the wires through. Hung and leveled the Rainbird box after taking off the outer door and the inner control panel. Rewired the new box and plug it in and all 7 stations worked!! Sent a note to SprinklerPartsWholesale.com and got an immediate response on my question regarding the need for a 9 volt battery (not needed), Great support!!
