This product is so cheaply made that you cannot open or close the lid without the entire box coming out of square.

My wife needed a deck box for the poolside patio to store all the weatherproof coverings for our outdoor furniture. The size and price point were pretty good, so I ordered this Ram Quality Products 71 Gallon deck box. It was pretty easy to assemble,but you have to use your brain a bit to attach the lid. This box is functional enough for what we needed, but I would never let anyone sit on it like we do with our poolside boxes. It's simply not sturdy enough to support much weight. We're satisfied with the asthetic, but if you're looking for something tough, this isn't it.

This is not something I look at daily. So when I went out to reposition items stored, it smelled musty, a pad of photo printer paper, a fabric seat cushion and other items were either smelling bad or actually WET!!! the resolution provided by the mfg was to check the seal, check the lock (I don't need to lock it), check the drain plug!!!! REALLY!!! this is supposed to be WATER TIGHT/WATERPROOF. so why would this need a drain plug? This is one of the worst purchases I have ever bought. A plastic tub from the hardware store would probably be more waterproof than this hunk of junk

For the price of this I thought it was going to be much sturdier but it is very flimsy and wobbly it didn’t even snap together well and I don’t think it’s gonna make it outside for long it arrived open and damaged and when I asked for a refund I was told it was on eligible for a refund when I explain to them that it was too much money to pay for something that is damaged they sent me a new lid but only after making me feel like they thought the damage wasn’t that bad they asked if it really messed with the function of the item or was it just a cosmetic problem I had. The new lid that they sent has a small chip in the top of it But I’m not surprised considering that when they sent it it was just in a random box that looked like it had packing tape wrapped around the top and bottom would not recommend anyone purchases this find another company that’s charging just as much or spend the extra money on a nicer one because ultimately that’s what I’m gonna end up doing
