Usually when you purchase an ink pad you at least have some wetness and are able to use it for a bit before you need to purchase the re-inker.. NOT THESE.. They are soo dry they are curling up at the edges! So very disappointed

Mine too were very dry. I debated about ordering the re-inkers, but not for the price and the fact that they were dry from the get-go. Returning them.

I ordered these inks after watching a video where they were used. The demonstrator was amazed at the amount of ink in them and how easy they blended. Unfortunately when I opened mine I found them to be very dry, especially the blue one, Clear Skies. I had to double and triple stamp many times to see the image, i didn't even try to blend with them. The price was good, but I can only guess that they had been sitting on the shelf a very long time.

In all the years I have been crafting, this is the best ink beyond measure! Very bold and vibrant colors!! Easy to apply, don’t need much!! Beautiful!! Thank you Simon/ Ranger!

adding to lunar and solar paste these ink pads are great for card making...still dont have the complete set of all simon hurley inks hoping they sell the rest of his colors here soon. Some of the ink pads are not wet enough when they arrive so I do recommend purchasing the re-inkers with the ink pads

This was a great deal for Simon Hurley Ink Pads. It arrived quickly. I wish other ink colors came in 6 packs at similar prices. Until then I will purchase a couple colors at a time.

I received these today, and I'm so disappointed in how dry the ink pad is. I will return them because I don't want to buy ink to refill pad.UpdateI read where it helps to store the pads up side down. I tried this over night, and it helped a little. I think I will keep them.

I love the performance of these inks. I'm still very new at stamping and ink blending and haven't used anything but distress oxides for blending so this is definently different for me but I look forward to purchasing more sets.
