We got this for our 11 year old grandson as it's the same size and brand they use on his Middle School basketball team. I read the review of a lady that has one and decided to purchase it since he asked for one for Christmas. He wanted the same as the basketball team had to practice at home.. He likes it very well and it fits a young persons hands better than the larger one.

This is a decent quality ball for the price. It's easy to dribble and shoot with large or small hands. It has good bounce and handling ability on a wide range of outdoor surfaces. It's the perfect playground ball. It's not slippery or awkward feeling at all. It has a nice grippy rubbery surface. The first ball I received had the a part of the orange coating peeling off. I returned it as defective and ordered a replacement. The second ball was fine. After numerous trips to the court, including dribbling on the way to and from the court, the surface of this ball is still perfectly fine with no peeling. That convinces me that the first ball was just defective. Defects can happen to any ball, even the $100 "Official" NBA leather balls. If you're shopping for an outdoor ball, avoid costlier balls and just grab this one.

Balls have no bounce, but they looks nice so I would use them for awards so player can autograph them for teammates!!!
