Be sure you buy the right size for your specific trailer. I think these work fine. Some people complain about having to screw the top on - but that doesnt bother me at all. It works great and these are getting harder to find - so grab them here!

This is the one. Feels tight and secure. Doesn’t get in the way. Fits my Cobra EZ-Loader trailer perfectly.

While this lock fits the coupler it can only be used when the trailer is in the yardThe shaft has bent already from driving back and forth from the boat rampIt definitely needs a larger and hardened shaftI now use a removable hardened pin to travel to the ramp and have to remember to change to the lock at the ramp and again when I leave. Not the best situation at my age

I like the key-screw locking design better than what I had before. It seems to be much more secure.
