Back plate for outdoor push button has extremely weak mounting tabs. They will probably break off the first time you remove unit to replace the batteries. Then you cannot remount the push button, and you cannot buy the broken back plate separately from Honeywell. Good for Honeywell sales. Bad for the customer.

I chose the Honeywell RDWL515A2000 to replace a deteriorated wired doorbell systemIt came well packaged with supplies for different types of mounting, the receiving unit and bell. Installation was easy and the instructions for installation and use were clear. I have not placed the receiver to the maximum distance stated so I do not know if it is effective. Purely for a doorbell basic function it has too many features that reflect in its price but if they are useful, I consider it a good buy

Replaced an old, traditional door bell with this wireless one, it's a great improvement (we can now hear it throughout the house). Lots of useful options: portable, muting, etc. Installation was very easy. We added a second button for the back door and programed a different sound, nice feature.

Very useful for our very long house where we couldn't always hear someone knock on the door. Even if I don't take it with me to the far end of the house, I can still hear it if I have the volume all the way up. Much louder than my old doorbell. I really like the light function that lets you mute the bell while having it facing you so you can tell someone is ringing the doorbell without waking up a napper.

Home built 24 years ago and doorbell installed just inside the front door. Family room and kitchen as well as back yard seems miles away to hear the door bell. This unit is so portable allowing us to take outdoors in back yard but still hear if some comes to our front door. Easy set up as well as multiple choices of sounds and light colours to choose from. Highly recommended.

I purchased this portable doorbell because i wanted the exact one i had before. It works great for me and only needs batteries once every two years. Very easy to hide and loud enough to hear thru the house. Love how small it is too. At Christmas you can change the chime to CHristmas tone. The outside piece velcros to the siding and looks very nice. Works great!

Tiene muchas melodías y esta divertidas. Las puedes elegir. Me gusta que lo puedesPortar y así llevar dentro de tu casa o jardín y escucharlo. Por lo que te sirve para varios fines incluía seguridad para personas de la tercera edad que se lleven el timbre y si necesitan algo te avisan. También tiene iluminación y es práctico

I bought a second bell to extend the sound into the basement. The button is at the front door, a chime is in the middle of the house and the other one is in the basement. Perfect placement for my house. Sync the doorbell button or buttons to the chime or chimes and place them where you need them. It’s been a couple months and so far so good!

I received this doorbell with addition push button and got it all set up with no issues. The rings sound exceptionally good and clear. I have the front door with a melody and the back door with the ding dong sound. I live in a two story house and positioned the bell in the back side of the front foyer. I can hear the bell loud and clear on the first floor and if no music is playing upstairs, I can hear it up there. You can take the bell with you wherever you will be if you want to make sure you hear it OR you can silence the ring tone and just allow the flashing light to get your attention. You can also program the lights with a different color to line up with which push button is pushed, front or back door. The quality sound of the ring tones is through the roof!!! I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this unit. I just can't compliment the quality sound of the ring tones enough!!! I've had several wireless doorbells in the past and this one far exceeds in quality of any I've ever had. Sounds just as good as an expensive hardwired doorbell.
