Best bang for buck, had no issues on install. PO had hacked and spliced everything with piss poor results, 15 minutes both sides done and now have all rear functions again. Good quality and the wire wrap was a nice touch. Less exposed than the factory harness. Probably will buy a set for each 3rd gen for when inevitably the harness breaks.

They work for the most part, but the clips for the door jam mounting do not match up well and these pop out easily. I can see this causing issues in the future and likely leading to wire breakage possibly within the vehicle side harness as this will cause excess movement on that side due to it not always staying in place.

This set of harness solved many strange electrical problems on my 3 gen Ram. Fit is great and quality is good so far. It did take some time to install but worth it. Don't try to repair your factory harness, buy these and do both sides at the same time.

I have 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 and of course the rear harness was broken inside pass through for rear doors of quad cab. Called dealer gave me part number 56045815ae but told me discontinued. Googled it and one on eBay for 35.00 but was clearly broken wires. Figured I would try these as might possibly have to spice or change connectors and better than trying to patch in the high flex area. I matched them and wired exactly the same and same plugs! I was able to plug right in with no issues and everything works as should! Don't know difference but fit is spot on! Only issue I had is where snaps in the body it would not stay securely snapped in, move it a little and would pop out. I took some felt and put inside plug where the tabs are to push tabs out more but allow to be pushed in to release (pull rubber boot back carefully and stuff where screwdriver is at both sides and put boot back). It stays in firmly and is awesome repair and 20 minutes per side to do.

Didn't need the lock mechanism, just this harness. Window works now too!

works like it should. happy for the price but the main plug does not stay clipped into the hole of the door frame as it is smaller than the original.

I have a 2004 Ram 1500 that lost feed to speaker in the back driver's door. Knowing the speaker was good and power window still worked, I suspected the wiring. I had voltage before the door and was able to jumper to the speaker for signal, so I knew it was the harness. The harness is a bit lighter than the OEM harness I replaced it with but the connectors clicked right up, the wire lengths were correct, and I now have sound coming out of that door. The hardest part if the install is getting the body harness connector snapped into the B-pillar. A collection of plastic trim tools and patience is the key here.Overall, this is a quick and cost effective replacement part for aging vehicles with known-failure point wiring.
