Great for such a small light. Very easy UI so you can hand it to anyone. USB-C on the 14500 cell is very handy for charging, plus the light can be more waterproof when there's not a USB-C port on it's body. It also can take any standard AA battery, making it a handy light to keep in your car with a few spare AA cells for emergencies. Reversible clip makes it easy to clip to my cap.

I found that this flashlight will be used in my garage for when i'm cleaning or working on my cars since it has a clip on it to put on my hat visor. It is sturdy and feels like metal. I like the fact that you can charge the internal battery or use AA batteries while the battery is charging. There are 3 levels of light intensity, the brightest intensity covering a huge area. I will probably get the green one as well. It is small enough to put in a pocket. These are good to keep around the house for emergencies. I tested the battery by leaving the flashlight on the highest setting and it lasted a very long time. This is a great flashlight!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Pioocan L2 flashlight, but I’ve been genuinely impressed. The brightness is seriously powerful—great for nighttime walks, power outages, or keeping in your car for emergencies. It has several modes including strobe and SOS, which came in handy on a recent camping trip. The build quality feels sturdy and solid—not cheap plastic like some others I’ve bought. I accidentally dropped it on pavement and it didn’t even scratch. Battery life is excellent too; I’ve used it multiple nights before needing a recharge.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, high-powered flashlight!

Great little light with a lot of output. Well built light for many purposes. Is able to run off standard AA batteries or 3.7v 14500 batteries. Includes a nice 14500 button top battery with built in USB-C charging, which allows for max brightness of 1200 lumen. Easy to use simple interface which is controlled through clicky mechanical tail switch. Cycles through different brightness settings and strobe if needed. The beam is a cool white with a nice balance of a clean hotspot with some spill. Has a nice dual direction pocket clip which is great for clipping to a hat to use as a headlight. Photos show it compacted to the popular Lumintop Tool AA. It is slightly taller and thicker but with much higher output.

I am surprised and impressed with this light.I am a bit of a flashlight enthusiast and have large variety of flashlights, most of which cost 3x+ what this one cost.I bought this specifically because I wanted a light that could use an AA battery. It wasn't meant to be an everyday light as much as a "just in case". Having used it a good bit over the last week, I am genuinely impressed. The UI is very simple and easy to use which is especially great if I am handing it to someone else and need to quickly explain how to use it. It's bright, definitely more of a thrower than a flood but usuable for both. The included battery is convenient. The flashlight is tiny but powerful, this does mean you have to be a bit careful to conserve battery life. If you're blasting turbo you will not get much time. It is amazing if you need a lot of light quickly however.I can assure you this will blow any comparable price big box store flashlight out of the water twice over. I haven't had it very long yet but as of now I can easily highly recommend it.

This little flashlight is impressive. It puts out amazing light for its size and is in a good housing. I haven’t done a “how much damage can this take and still work” test, but it’s hit the ground a couple of times and still works perfectly. My only negative is that I would be very careful using the light on full power for more than a few seconds. The battery really overheats fast on full output. That indicates overdraw of the battery. Consider it like the Galaxy Quest “Boost” button. It’s just for short bursts.Anyway it’s worked well so far both indoors and out. I will update my review if anything changes or needs to be addressed.

Introduction:I’m an avid flashlight collector, probably around 15+ flashlights from consumer-grade to enthusiast-grade. The PIOOCAN L2 piqued my interest as it seems like another EDC flashlight, but it stands above the rest of the consumer-grade lights with great build quality and features.Pros:- User interface: The L2 has a simple and intuitive UI that anyone can use. One-click for on, half presses to cycle between low, medium, and high modes, and a double half press to toggle into a tactical strobe. The light also memorizes your last used brightness mode except for the strobe.- Battery: The light can also take dual fuel meaning it can use lithium-ion batteries such as the one provided and standard AA batteries. The lithium-ion battery is a cell with a protection circuit, meaning the light cannot run unprotected cells. The included battery is a 14500 cell with 750mAh of capacity and a nominal voltage of 3.7V. The light is rechargeable in via the battery as the cell itself has a USB-C input that charges the light at 5V and 0.5A for a total of 2W. This is not fast charging by any means but is good for maintaining longevity over time. The cell can also double as an emergency power bank which provides enough juice to revive an iPhone 15 Pro to 25% from dead. The light also works using standard AA batteries, which makes it very versatile.- LED: The L2 is equipped with an Osram P8 with a single traditional reflector, providing a concentrated “throwy” beam with a distinct spill area. The tint is on the cooler side, around 56-5700K by my eye, with a very slight green tint, probably a little above BBL. Compared to a Luminous SST20 6000K, which is known to have horrendous green tint, the tint of the Osram P8 was not at all objectionable. Osram P8s are not known to have great CRI as you can see when compared to the Convoy T2s both of which have different color temperatures of Nichia 519As.- Modes: There are 3 modes: low, medium, and high with an additional tactical strobe mode. The low mode is lower than the Convoy T2, which are flashlights in the same category as the L2, rocking a tail switch, single emitter reflector combo, and tail switch. I prefer my flashlights to have a lower low mode to prevent washing out my night vision. Medium and high modes are great and seem to be much brighter than the Convoy T2s.- Features: Useful features of this light include the dual sided pocket clip, included lanyard, and crenulated bezel. The bezel crenulations allow the user to immediately tell when the light has been left on accidentally when stored in a head down position. This prevents any accidental burns as even the Osram P8 can lead to significant damage if left on in contact with a dark surface. The included accessories are very helpful with the dual-sided clip allowing for pseudo-headlamp usage when clipped onto a brimmed hat.- Build quality and size: The body of the light is made from anodized aluminum, making it light and durable. The screw threads are well cut and there is an o-ring at the removable tail cap to improve water resistance. There was a small amount of silicone lube applied to the threads, which is preferred. In comparison to other EDC lights in my collection, it is smaller than the Emisar D4K and Wurkkos TS21, but larger than the TS10. It is about the same size as the Convoy T2.Cons:- Serviceability: I could not find a way to remove the bezel at the head. Although this could be considered a positive because it keeps out dirt and water from the driver, having an easily accessible driver and LED is helpful if the driver or LED ever dies. The inability to remove the bezel also prevents the user from replacing the glass if it were to get damaged or broken. Conclusion:The PIOOCAN L2 is a great value, bright flashlight for any consumer looking for a reliable and versatile flashlight. With the ability to accept multiple fuels including AA, lithium-ion, and NiMH batteries, and great features such as the simple UI, strobe mode, dual-sided pocket clip, lanyard, and included lithium battery, this makes the L2 a great gift for anyone.
