The box was smashed on one corner and I noticed after opening and starting to use it that the corner of the binder was also damaged.

bought this cookbook for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. I took the time to handwrite all my recipes in it that have been passed down from my Grandma. I see how sentimental my Mom gets when she finds a recipe written by her mother and I wanted that for my son. I didn't notice she opened it until I saw her staring at me and with tears in her eyes she asked me if I wrote the recipes. It was very touching, I wasn't expecting her reaction!
