This product as received is as if they did 80% of the work but just stopped. When I unboxed it, the panels were falling apart. I assume the panels are CNC cut but the dovetail work needs some assistance as the panels don't fully fit together which is a good indicator for why it doesn't stay together. I intend to "finish" the box as it could be a really nice recipe box with cool dividers.

I love this recipe box. You have to assemble it but it’s easy. Have been looking for one for a very long time. Love the quality and size. It looks perfect on my countertop as if it belongs there . It’s quite functional for organizing all your favourite recipes at one place. Perfect if you want to create your own recipe collection or want to gift somebody.

This recipe box is a great way to get all of my recipes together that I have inherited from my family. Overall it's very beautiful and looks old-fashioned. I love that it's made from wood because that's going to last a lot longer than plastic. My last plastic recipe box only survived for a couple years but couldn't take the heat of the kitchen and ended up cracking. The dividers are absolutely wonderful and I love that they are would too. I love that this is a standard 4x6 recipe card I can use index cards when I run out of the 100 that came with the box. The top notch to hold the recipes is really nice and very handy. I think this would make a wonderful gift for somebody that's setting up their house for the first time or someone that's putting together family recipes such as I am. Highly recommended.

I really like this recipe box! It's very attractive, and it's put together well, made of wood that is dove tailed together (probably glued), everything is square and flush. The front has "Recipe Box" imprinted on the front in a casual and attractive script. The lid works well, and rather than hardware, has "ears" that fit into the frame that creates hinges, and seem durable. It closes with an antique style clasp, with a snap type fastener (like you'd find on clothing). The hinge will snap shut again, but you need to make sure the snap is lined up. The lid fully closes without snapping the lid shut, so that isn't really necessary in any case.Inside the box were were 9 dividers and 102 recipe cards (a few extra cards?)The dividers are hard and quite thick, probably made from masonite or similar material. The tabs, imprinted with a similar script, have the following categories:Breakfast, Desserts, Drinks, Favorites, Fish and Seafood, Meats, Pasta and Grains, Salads, and Soups. The recipe cards are made of cardstock, like a heavy business card with a shiny finish. There are lines on the cards for Ingredients, serving size, prep time, cook time, and directions, with additional lines on the back of the card. One nice touch is, on the bottom of the card is a line for "From the kitchen of" and a space for your name.My favorite feature is, the top, when opened, allows you to place the card on the lid at a nice angle to see when you're making your recipe. As the description says, you can place your phone there as well.See the additional pictures for more information.

This recipe box is very handy for my recipes that are scattered all over in writing tablets. I get a lot from YT and write them down and then I have to come back and start flipping through the tablets to find them. I can use this to organize them in one place. This recipe box is cool with it's unique design and has wooden category dividers that are engraved into the wood. Nice homey touch and looks good on my counter. The recipe cards for into a bracket in the lid for easy reading.I had to put the box back together again since it came apart in shipping. They need to glue it together. Deducted 1 star for that.It is nicely made and looks really cool on my counter (even if it came apart in shipping).I do like this recipe box from the Albino monkey Store and recommend it if you are looking for unique stuff.

This recipe box is a fantastic way to finally get all my recipes organized! I love that it comes with cards and dividers, so I can sort everything into categories easily. The little holder in the lid for propping up the cards while I'm cooking is such a clever and useful feature. It's also great that it fits standard index cards, so I can use it for more than just recipes. Plus, it's a really nice-looking wooden box that adds a bit of a rustic touch to my kitchen counter. It keeps my favorite recipes safe and tidy, and it looks good doing it.

THE BOX FELL APART THE MOMENT WE PUT RECIPE CARDS IN IT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AT ALL

I got really excited when I found this recipe box that was made in Denmark, rather than China, but once received, it was kind of a mess. The fit of the dove tails is poor on this recipe box and it arrived in pieces, not from shipping damage, but just because it wasn't constructed and put together very well from the factory.I really liked the looks of the box, so I put the work and effort into reassembling everything and improving the flaws in the fit as I went. I also used my hot glue gun to tack everything together so it would not come apart again. After putting some time and TLC into it, I now have a really nice recipe box, but it's just too bad it didn't arrive this way from the factory. I really expected better out of a first world European country like Denmark, and for the substantial price for which it is currently selling.
