For being 12 volts batteries last decent amount of time. The blades that came with it are absolute garbage. But the saw itself is nice

This cordless reciprocating saw did a really good job with light cutting, especially for small branches. It comes with a set of blades and an extra battery, so I can replace the battery once the first one is out. It is super lightweight and works well with my small hands. Easy to use, great value, highly recommended.

This saw is the perfect size and weight for my use. Borrowed a sawzall from a friend and that was too heavy for me to use for any extended period of time. This perfect little reciprocating saw comes with everything I needed, and was ready to use right out of the box because the batteries came charged! This made really quick work of some deadish hedges that have been driving me crazy. It also stores neatly and is self contained in the box it came in because of the custom foam insert. Love that not only did I not need anything extra to get started, but I did not need to get another tool bag to store it in. Even came with extra blades. Cannot recommend this enough!

Many years ago, I bought a Milwaukee heavy-duty plug in the wall reciprocating saw. It is a monster that can rip through thick plywood, or even a 2 by with relative ease. Sometimes you do not want to carry all of that weight, and furthermore it is really nice to have something that runs on batteries for ease of portability. Well, this tool is it. It moves fast so it is not a slow poke. The batteries charge up fast as well. They are the small snap them in the handle of the tool type. They give you two of them for greater flexibility, and the changer is nothing more than the plug in the wall adapter that leads to a small round plug that you slide into the battery.Let me give you a parallel example. I have a wide range of cordless drills, some of them are pretty heavy-duty. They are on a rack in the garage. I had a roommate move out and he left behind a featherweight 12-Volt Black and Decker drill. It is small and lightweight. Darn if I do not grab that one first most all of the time. So, this reciprocating saw is the perfect analogy to that. I know it will be my go-to for all but the toughest jobs.It takes the standard reciprocating blades, and it comes with several of them. The bottom line is that it is very comfortable in the hands, and ergonomically well designed. So, it is something even the fairer sex will want to use.

If you need a small job done, then this would do the job. I used this to cut off a branch of a tree but it took a little while to get through the branch. The branch wasn't that thick either, maybe two inches. This led me to believe that the teeth on the blades aren't as sharp as they could be. It does come with two batteries which is nice, however they are pretty small and the saw probably won't last for more than a couple of minutes if you ran it without stopping it.
