So I received this item at no cost to review on Amazon. With that said, I have bought several Recoil products before so this review is based on my overall experiencewith them. I got a Jeep that had a lot of accessories and a pretty nice stereo system. The wiring was a mess and there were tons of electrical problems. I have worked in the electronics field and have done a fair share of wiring around hotrods and car audio systems. Not an expert by any means but been around.I have had issues with quality and performance with some of the larger and higher cost products. I was looking for a brand of product to use with my rewiring project for my Jeep. I was building a distribution system with high amp draw. High output offroad lights (used a trigger 4 wireless switch with secondary relays to handle the higher wattage lights), random accessories like aftermarket seat heater, outlets for overland type items, a 20 amp circuit for a fast charger in my trailer, and a few thousand watt stereo, a couple 2 way radios I plan to add down the road, and some other stuff I am sure I forgot but you got the basics.First thing I noticed was the construction materials. These are solidly built with good connections. My resistance drop is low "wire to wire" using good wire end ferrules or tinned wire for the smaller wires. I got a couple ohms at the most. In the end, they do not generate much heat or have loss when pushing a load.Another important factor to me was flexibility in the system and component design. So far I have used a couple or three different Recoil mini AN fuse distribution blocks, a1/0 copper wire kit, a smaller 6 space ATC type fuse block, a set of their battery terminals and a few other of their products. This item will be installed to split my amp power wire to run an inverter in the cargo compartment. You know for important stuff. Coffee maker on camping and long trips or blender for entertaining ;)Reliability is key. I installed the setup with some custom mounting plates. I drove for a while then retorqued all the connections. I then drove through Canada to the Artic Ocean from the northern US. Took the Alcan, Klondike Hwy to the Dempster Hwy up. The Cassiar way down. I challenge anyone to find a better real world test of equipment. I did not have a single failure in this entire setup. No loose connections, no burnt spots, and no blown fuses through lots of hours of using my offroad lights and accesories on over 1k miles of washboarded dirt highway of the Dempster Hwy. We recently went to Moab, UT wheeling on several of the famous trails there. There have been several other adventures all with the same result, no electrical drama.Lastly, this stuff looks good. It compliments my engine compartment and high end accessory and stereo setup.I planned out this build to be reliable, fully custom, and a head turner. I spent a lot of time selecting the right components and layout of the system. I highly recommend this brands products. They are flexible, reliable, and at a great value for their performance. I have tested these products thoroughly in various really tough and real world applications. I try and give fair and unbiased reciews. I really like these products so far. You can't go wrong with these if you install them correctly. Buy this, try it out. You won't be dissapointed.
