This is my first set of recovery tow straps for my diesel truck. I don't take my truck off-road or drive much out in the mountains or back country mostly city driving carrying equipment or an occasional load to help someone moving or carrying something that won't fit in a car.The snatch straps are nicely stitched and the loops ends have a nylon covering to reinforce the pressure point and help keep them from breaking on the ends. These straps feel more flexible and not as stiff as some other tow straps I've used in the past. The black poly webbing they call it looks really nice, but I'm not sure of the 35,000 lbs break strength rating which is 4X the weight of my truck at 8500 lbs. In order to break these recovery tow straps I would need to produce 4G of deceleration to reach the breaking point.The formula for calculating g-force is:gF = (velocity change / time to change)If my truck was traveling at 3 feet per second and the strap stretched 10% under full load that would equate to 36 inches and the time to travel that distance is 1 seconds. If the vehicle or whatever I'm trying to pull doesn't move and only the strap stretch is accounted in the calculation. The force would roughly equal somewhere close to 5Gs. I haven't tested this straps to see if they would break but they do feel like they could stop my truck traveling at 3~4 fps and not break, so from that point of view the rating is reasonable.gF = 5 fps / 1 s = 5GI wished they provided a working load limit (WLL) and maximum strain or stretch prior to breaking for this strap, but since no specifications are provided I'll assume they are good for 1/3 of the breaking point or 10,000 lbs. This means they should handle most cars and light-duty trucks as long as you don't try to get too much of a running start.

The length of this tow strap is perfect as it can be useful in many situations. You could use this to tow someone, winch from a tree, and more. The looped ends are reinforced, and the strap itself is heavy duty with quality stitching.There has been times when my life would have been easier if my friends or I had one of these. Now I plan to keep it on me at all times. It is especially useful if you like to spend your time driving down dirt and gravel roads in the mountains.

Well presented with a carry bag and a hook and loop belt closure to keep it neat and tidy. I use both of the ones I got to secure a scaffold connecting to a 2 ton beam clamp. It gives me the security I'm looking for when I'm more than 5 meters off the ground. Highly recommended. These are superior quality products.

The strap looks very well made with good stitching and fits nicely in a shackle hitch receiver. The strap did measure 30 feet before any stretching and had nice anti-wear protection in the right places.The extra 10 feet length over 20 foot straps should make vehicle separation a lot simpler during tows.Included stuff sacks are always appreciated as they minimize wear to the strap when it is kept in the vehicle with other recovery tools.

I bought this for the new Trail Boss Z71. Tossed it under the back seat with out another thought. That is until I got her stuck in log skidder ruts. It just so happened there was a guy with a tractor across the field. He'd gladly help me out but had no chain. I remembered this jewel and broke it out and broke it in. Hooked it to the trailer ball on the truck and wrapped it around a hook on the tractor. 2 minutes later and I was on my way! Great value!
