I was impressed with the solidity of this pistol case. The plastics are fairly thick and solid, the latches are rugged and secure, and the locking locations have metal reinforcements. Extra molded-in designs and ridges add stiffness to the case. I also thought it was neat that there was a dial that allowed ventilation for the case - a great idea if you're flying with the case, preventing a build-up of excessive air pressure. The egg crate foam on the inside is soft but secure. The handle has a slot at the hinge line that allows it to lay flat on the case. You may have to fiddle with it for a moment to change between folded and extended positions, but it's a neat way to reduce storage space. This is a good case for transporting your handguns to the range or on travel.
