It brings more comfort to the cot. But it is kind of hard to put on correctly, being really tight at the end corners.

My wife put this on her bass pro basic cot and it made a huge difference in her quality of sleep on our last camping trip.Probably going to picking up a second one.

Don't get me wrong, this is crafted well. Soft, fits perfectly. The marketing seems a little off. It says its 1.5" inches. It's basically a few layer thick fitted sheet. This will provide no support. I thought it was a thin cushion pad. Now you can cram foam between it and use it to keep it in place. Think cover sheet not a pad. Otherwise it is very well crafted. Too expensive.

The pad I received was in no way as thick and luscious as the pad pictured on Amazon.That said, the material is soft and it fits my cot. I like the buckle strap used to secure it and the fitted edges. It is a good pad to use in cooler weather to keep your body heat in. You could accomplish the same with a blanket or two, but I really like the fitted edges and strap/buckle to secure it.I bought the damaged packaging option at a lower price. I would recommend if you are going to pay full price, take that money and invest in a thicker, more expensive pad.It fills my needs. I bought on price, and I fear if I use this cot quite a bit, I will wish I had purchased a thicker cot pad. The pictures do not reflect what I received for thickness.

The red camp cots are so incredibly uncomfortable (tested by a few people) I decided to buy the pads in the hope it would make a difference. It did not - pads are thin and have little padding. The cot and pads were a complete waste of money - I’m hoping this review will stop you from making the same mistake.

But cover is sturdy enough I think it will work for my purpose. I have an old 30 x 74 inch folding bed that has been folded so many times over the years the middle of the mattress was wearing thin. I wanted to put another thin mattress under it that wouldn't prevent the bed from folding up again when stored. It works for that and even makes the bed a little more comfortable. The mattress comes packed in a nice bag that looks a little like a sleeping bag stuff sack, and as a sleeping pad for using under a sleeping bag on the floor, it is pretty comfortable without the cot. I doubt it would work well out in the open where it could get wet, but on a cabin floor or bunk, it is definitely convenient to store and carry.

Mat pad is great. Tried it temporarily on the cot and it will work perfectly. Could use a little more padding but its better than laying on a cot without it. Overall great product.

Very soft and comfortable. I expected a slightly stiffer pad, but I love the feel and the straps and elastics to hold in place. Feel and thickness is similar to a thick comforter folded in half. It is 75 inches long, not 77. Comes with it's own draw string bag and easily rolls up to fit inside
