The Bike Handlebar Shim Kits are useful biking accessories that let you easily fit your bicycle handlebar into the clamp of the Quick-Release Aerobars. A cost-effective solution if you have a 26.0mm handlebar, these bicycle shims will seamlessly integrate with 31.8mm diameter clamps. Easy to install in minutes, place the bicycle handle bar adapter shims inside the handlebar clamps. Once installed, the shims are essentially invisible.

The Quick-Release Aerobar fits 31.8mm diameter handlebars without the need for any additional parts. If you have a 26.0mm diameter handlebar, you will need to add shims to your order. The handlebar clamp shims adapt 26.0 mm handlebars to 31.8 mm Quick-Release Aerobars handlebar clamp. Width: 22 mm per side.

VG quality but narrow width. I needed to use all four to secure a threadless 31.8 stem to 265 mm hbars. one set would work with a quill stem . A little pricey for one bike, good deal if they worked for two.

Mag persönliche preferz sein aber ich persönlich würde es besser finden wenn das Set nur aus 2 teilen bestehen würde denn so ist es eine ziemliche fumelei alle 4 teile da hin zu bekommen wo sie hin sollen und sie auch dort zu halten. Elektriker Band war hier sehr hilfreich

These shims wrap around too much and clamp against each other before they clamp the 26.0 road handlbar.The combined inside circumference of 2 shims is greater than the 26.0mm diameter road handlebar. You cannot tighten the stem to the handle bar as a result. You tighten, but you are only smashing the shims together, but they cannot tighten the aero bars or the stem to the stem. These need to have some of the edges shaved off in order to work. Otherwise they are the right curvature and thickness.

just need to remember they are for the bell near the stem onley so if make sure that is where you are fitting you item otherwise you need different sizes 😉

The most important thing is to know the diameter of the inside of the stem. It has to be 26mm. If it is this is perfect. Only took me 20 minutes to take off the old stem put a new one and test ride my bike.

Works; have rotation problem with part (clip on aero bars) but will likely resolve with double sided tape or a reverse taped piece of electrical tape.

Was worried about negative reviews, however, suspect people with loose handlebars actually have 25.4mm bars. Works great with my vintage 26mm carbon bars...

If I could give minus stars this product would rate minus 2stars .The only thing that these shims do is fill the space,but positively do not hold the handle bar in place. I was so happy that the shims arrived. I install them right away and went for a twenty mile ride.While I was riding I went to look into my mirror to see if any cars were coming and the mirror was out of line.(looking down at the ground)So I adjusted the mirror and kept riding.Did the same thing a couple of times,Then I twisted my wrist and the bars rotated back into position.During my whole ride I had to continuesly rotating the bars back to the correct postion.Bottom this product is pure GARBAGE.
