GAME VARIATIONS (examples)
Werewolves vs. Hunters
The lead werewolf hides the orb. Hunters search for it – but if the werewolf tags them, they howl and join the werewolf pack. Adds 8+ players.
The Wizard
Ideal for including a player with a disability: they get to yell "freeze" and then rearrange other players up to 3x per game. It's truly mischievous!
Traitors
Add devious intrigue by choosing 1 player per team to be turncoat. At any point during the game they can switch sides and join their 'real' team.
Presidents
Rather than protecting your flag, protect your president! The game is won if the president is tagged by an invading team. Adds 2 extra players.

This is the most exciting game my daughter has received in along time. They love to play man hunt when there is a party and this was just like it! We had ten players and they played for 2 hours! They are 13 but I think this game would be enjoyed by ages up to adults. You definitely receive hours of fun for very little price!

The kids love it and games with the whole family are epic.We had one of the orbs break, but it’s incredibly easy to get in touch with Starlux customer support. There was a full replacement set on our doorstep within a couple of days. This is one of the few games on Amazon that you won’t need to throw out after a few months.

This product was fun for our summer campers. The quality was great. This game was easy to learn. It functioned well for our needs. The value was pretty much compatible to our local stores. I highly recommend for kids and adults.

So let me start off & say.. the game & all its pieces work great. This is not the reason for a 3 star review. The 3 star review is because I was looking for a capture the flag glow n the dark set for more than 4 players per team. I felt their ad is misleading. In description pic it says 8 team bracelets. I mistakenly thought is for 8 players per team. And in the photo of game play, each team had 5 players. Now I have to spend another $25 to get an additional bracelets to be able to have more players. Because after dark, everyone needs a glow n the dark bracelet to be easily seen.

Our four kids love playing this with their friends. It takes a classic game and uplevels it so much, perfect for Fall when it gets dark early. They seem durable and come ready to play with.

The Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag Game was a Birthday gift for a 10 year old boy! As soon as he opened the package, all the guests were clamoring to play! It was a huge hit. Unfortunately, one piece was broken during party madness, but, the Customer Service at Starlux is the gold standard for helping and they quickly made it right! I have already purchased 2 other Starlux products and they won't be the last! You can't miss with this. (Pun intended!)

Das Spiel ist wirklich der Hammer! Hatten es mit auf Klassenfahrt, die Kinder haben es geliebt und wollten es jeden Abend spielen (Jungs und Mädchen). Auch zu Hause mit den Nachbarn spielen sie es oft und kommen schweißgebadet und glücklich nach Hause.Der Kundenservice ist super und ersetzt alle kaputten Teile. Haben es jetzt seit 9 Monaten dauerhaft im Einsatz. Zu Hause ging in der ganzen Zeit nur ein Armband kaputt, auf der Klassenfahrt letzte Woche dann noch eine Kugel und 4 weitere Armbänder. Die Kugel wurde auf Beton geworfen, kann man aber kleben und bei den 5 von 28 Armbändern brach beim Schließen der Nupsie ab. Wurden aber wie gesagt ersetzt.Nur mit "Komm wir spielen Ticken" kommt man heute nicht mehr weit, aber ein paar Leuchtearmbänder und schon sind alle ganz heiß drauf. Es macht wirklich viel Spaß. Bisher haben wir nur die Grundregeln ausprobiert, werden aber als nächstes die Varianten von der Starlux-Homepage in Angriff nehmen.Auch auf Kindergeburtstagen und Klassenfesten toll.Das dritte Team in Magenta gibt es noch nicht in Deutschland zu bestellen, laut Kundenservice soll das aber bald soweit sein.Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!Und als Tipp: Vorher erklären, wie man den Verschluss befestigt und ggf helfen. Große Kugeln möglichst nicht werfen.

Firstly I am astounded at the amazing customer service I experienced. (Lindsay you are brilliant at your job and a true professional). We had a few pieces not work and this was swiftly resolved and the company truly care and want you to enjoy the product- it's been years since I have experienced such exemplary customer service.The product- AMAZING! was the reaction of my computer game obsessed teen and his younger sister equally enthusiastic. We have spent weeks playing various versions including a whole week on holiday where the internet didnt feature once and we were all engaged, active and outside- bliss. The game modes are great and enable a play and go facility but we loved pondering them and making our own- plan by day and play by night! That said we have used the pieces for many other games during the day without lighting them up so the value has been great. The kids love it, they get exercise, all ages can participate what more do you want? I no longer think how do I occupy them but rather how can we incorporate this?It's been on one holiday with us, is soon to come on another has been requested at both their next birthdays... what can I say? Brilliant.

Wir haben das Spiel bei einer Übernachtungsparty zum 10. Geburtstag mit insgesamt 12 Jungen gespielt als Abschluss der Schatzsuche für eine Stunde (von 21 Uhr bis 22 Uhr). Als Spielfeld haben wir eine Wiese ausgesucht (vorher bei Helligkeit Kontrolle auf Unebenheiten und Hundehaufen wichtig!), gut sind einzelne Büsche und Bäume, damit man sich verschanzen kann. Die Spielsteine und Leuchtbänder kommen in einer stabilen Schachtel mit Spielplan und Ergänzungen für eine Spielalternative (haben wir nicht ausprobiert). Da je 5 Bänder in grün und blau in der Schachtel sind, hatten wir noch andere Leuchtbänder in je zweimal grün und blau nachgekauft, so dass jedes Kind ein Band hat. Es ist wichtig darauf zu achten, dass die Bänder immer sichtbar sind. Heimliches Verstecken der Bänder unter dem Ärmel sollte sofort unterbunden werden, da bei Dunkelheit die Gefahr des Zusammenstoßes besteht! Die Leuchtsteine sind auch im Gras gut sichtbar. Umstände bereitet der Batteriewechsel, denn es sind kleine Schrauben zu lösen und zwei aufeinanderliegende Knopfbatterien zu wechseln.Ich würde es für etwas ältere Kinder empfehlen, die sich im Dunkeln mehr trauen.

The game was a blast. The kids had so much fun with it, they wanted to play again the next night. We put up a sign up sheet in a local ice cream shop in our little vacation community and ended up with 36 kids signing up. They had to take turns as we didn't have enough bracelets. The parents had to force the kids to stop playing they were having so much fun. Word of mouth got out the next day and many more kids (who hadn't signed up) were asking the ice cream shop workers when the next game was because they had heard it was so much fun. All the parents in this community have decided to make this a yearly tradition. We will need one or maybe two expansion packs and probably the three way expansion pack. Remember, you will have to divide them by age group too. With the older kids running full tilt and tagging, it can inadvertently get a little rough if younger kids are mixed with older kids.The only negatives (and reason for not giving it 5 stars) were: during the first game when one of the kids got tagged while holding the orb they dropped it and it broke. We had to do some creative package taping to get it to work again. And there are no clear markings on which side to pull to get the bracelets off--especially in the dark--so the kids were just yanking them off when their turn was over and they ended up pulling out the wrong end. We had to fix a bunch and only one seemed to be damaged. But I think I will use strong glue--CA maybe-- to seal the one side so the correct side slides out and doesn't risk breaking the bracelet.As far as I can tell they don't sell replacement orbs so if one does break (and the kids do throw them around and drop them) it would be expensive to have to re-order the whole kit again. And instead of just the $30 expansion pack, I wish they sold packs of just blue, green, and pink bracelets in case only one color was damaged and needed to be replaced--like a four pack.Overall, this is so worth it! The kids loved it and want to play it every night! We are going to talk with our park and rec department about doing a game one night in our town park.

"THAT WAS LEGITNESS!!!"This is the quote that could easily describe this game. It was beyond amazing... it was bemazing. Quick story; my team was trying to cross through the woods and across the river to invade the other side, but they were expecting it. Picture it, fourteen middle-aged men up to their wastes in mucky river water holding foam swords and shields wearing glow in the dark bracelets. Now, picture twenty-four middle-aged men who look exactly like the first fourteen charging into this river yelling obscene things like, "PEANUT BUTTER" and "FOR JERRY'S WIFE". It was a slaughter. My team fought valiantly, but we were outnumbered and they soon overran us. We suffered heavy casualties while the enemy only had two (Jerry didn't like it when Tom yelled "for Jerry's wife). I managed to escape with my partner in crime, Matt. We snuck away from the massacre and made our way across enemy lines.We had to act fast because our defense would not be able to hold against so many men. Somehow we got lucky and Matt tripped over the enemy team's orb. We quickly picked it up and high-tailed it out of there. As we approached the tree-line men jumped up from both sides and began chasing us. Matt tripped and realized there wasn't enough time. He tossed me the orb and told me he'd hold them off. The last time I saw his beautiful face was when he was swinging like a wild man against the horde of enemy soldiers. He tried his best, but he couldn't hold them for long. I took off for the treeline as he fell in battle. I swam as fast as I could across the river while fending off the enemy. Then I heard a long, deep sound echo across the woods. The Horn of Victory! I had done it. I had won.Although my team won, we suffered heavy casualties. Know this young adventurer, this game may seem like harmless fun, but realize that you are opening up a world of carnage and death. Once open, you cannot close it. Every night you must re-live the horror of battle and watch as your best friends are slaughtered by the evil that lives within. Eventually, you just ignore the new recruits and hope that you yourself survive the night. Good luck, and may Dulac grant you victory.
