I didn't use it when I first bought it, just played with it and put it away. I didn't realize it had a problem because I didn't know how to use it, so I thought the odd behavior was normal. When I finally started using it I realized the display has some sort of problem where it will display extra decimal places and random things on the screen will light up that aren't actually on. I called REED for warranty, but they declined because it was after 1 year, but I told them what happened and how it was broken from day one and I just didn't realize it. So not happy with REED. The meter does still work, and seems accurate, I just have to be careful and make sure I know what scale it is reading to get an accurate reading. I've never seen a problem like this, so not sure what to think. I just wish REED would have stood behind their product and replaced it. I guess the lesson is, don't buy something till you really need it, and if you do, test it thoroughly to make sure it works right.
