Works perfectly with my Canon C300 on a Manfrotto tripod. It's well built and includes an internal level.

I ordered this quick release for a work light that’s mounted on a tripod. Currently, the light is attached to the tripod via a standard 1/4” threaded stud. But every time I use it, I have to thread it ON, then thread it OFF. Not only is this time consuming, but the repetitiveness increases the risk of cross-threading the stud. I’m sure I’d never do that, but someone else might. At any rate, I thought a quick release would be a good solution. One of the benefits of this quick release for my particular application is the large platform. It pairs nicely with the large platform of the work light (see pics). After looking over the quick release and attaching it to the work light, I’m pretty pleased with the design, the build quality, and the build materials. There are multiple threaded ports on the bottom (and the side) for attaching a tripod mount, both 1/4” & 3/8”. And I’m happy with how easily the quick release mechanism works. Simple but effective. Importantly, once the locking mechanism is clamped down, there’s absolutely no movement. I also didn’t have any problems with the lock coming loose. It’s really a well designed and executed product.Overall, this quick release is a winner. It's large for professional-grade equipment. And that large size can definitely be an advantage of other devices, like a work light. At the time of order, the quick release was selling for $17.99. I think that's a fair price for such a high quality camera mount accessory. I highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Love this camera mount quick-release plate! The mount is the same size as my normal gimble mounts so swapping is fast and simple. It feels heavy-duty and works great with a normal tripod. A great price and value!

Attaches to the head easily. Build quality is solid. Love that it's got threaded holes to stow the extra plate screws. Has a bubble level - wish it was lit, but not a dealbreaker. Really nice plate mount.

To start I have to say I'm not the world's biggest fan of Manfrotto style mounting plates. They always seem a little awkward, not super secure, a little clunky compared to Arca Swiss. I say that so when I also say this plate is extremely nice and about as solid of a Manfrotto style plate as I've ever come across, you understand that it has to be pretty darn good. The plate is super rugged and substantial, made of all metal down to the tightening handle, but doesn't add TOO much weight (it is a tad on the heavy side, but it's not terrible and this is my single complaint about it). It boasts a ton of mounting options including several 3/8" points so you can mount it securely to a tripod or gimbal and know it's not going anywhere. The tightening handle is responsive and has 'pull and adjust' functionality making adjusting it in tight spaces super simple. The quick release button feels tactile and snappy. Its integrated hard stop makes me less concerned I'll forget to screw the plate tight enough to hold my camera. Gotta love Manfrotto. The bubble level even has a bubble in it. What more could you ask?Overall for the price you really can't go wrong with this plate. It's probably the most feature-rich Manfrotto style head I've found under $20 and is made to last. Recommended.

I have the Manfrotto add on plate and this one is over. It has a level and is longer than the Manfrotto so that’s good. Comes with two mounting screws too. The plate itself has the hexagon pattern but no lip, yet it still locks in just fine. Mine open anmd closed annd locked down smoothly. It even has the anlways anpprexiated rubber plug to keep the screws where you want them. Always good to have one of these on hand when tricky mounting situations come up.

(This review is for the Reflex Camera Professional Quick Release Plate.)A quick release plate is particularly useful when you're going back and forth between tripod-mounted and hand-held shots. This quick-release set (one piece goes on the camera, one on the tripod) is solid and sturdy, well-made out of metal. It features a red tightening wingnut to secure the camera, as well as a safety button to prevent the camera from falling off the mount. To remove the camera, just loosen the wing nut and then push the red safety button. I have a couple large, long lenses and this mount handles them well.Note that although this mount is designed to specifically fit certain Manfrotto tripods, it will also fit many/most others. I have used it successfully with an older Velbon tripod; the only wrinkle is that in order to allow the wingnut to move freely, I have to mount the long axis of the release plate perpendicular to the lens rather than in parallel. But it works just fine.
