This freezer thermostat works. My freezer reading is accurate. I have my upright freezer set to 0.0 degrees and the thermostat reading is a little below 0.0 degrees.

Just what I needed to confirm to LG that the compressor in my freezer was not working properly. After wondering why my ice cream was always mushy even with the freezer temp set to 0, this little gem proved the freezer was not calibrating correctly. For the little bit of money I paid for this, I got a new compressor (had to pay for labor only) and now have a functioning freezer.
