Designed with the latest DMX512 and RDM standard protocols that enable you to set the DMX address, choose output channel quantity and PWM output frequency using the digital control.

The ability to adjust the PWM output frequency allows you to set it so that it would be flicker free smooth dimming at 2000 Hz frequency.

Stand Alone RGB/RGBW Mode

You can use this as a standalone RGB/RGBW controller when it is not connected to a DMX master controller.

Just press the M key until you see P01-P30 and you can then select between 30 preset modes for RGB/RGBW LED strip lights. You will be able to adjust the brightness and speed using the arrow keys.

Stand Alone Dimmer Mode

If you have a single color strip then you can also use the stand alone dimmer mode. This is only available when it is not connected to a DMX master controller. Press the M key and when it shows L1-L8 then you are entering the stand alone dimmer mode. Each dimmer mode allows you to adjust the brightness of each channel independently.

Out of the box the white leds are constantly on in built in program mode. Also, the red and green outputs were switched, tried several different brands and types of strips and they all confirmed this. Can only turn them off by connecting to DMX controller. Go right back on when switching to built in program mode.Also, only four control channels in DMX? RGBW dimming and that’s it?Can’t color to color fade or strobe?

Came just as promised. Did not contain detailed instructions so you need to have a level of aptitude. Quality seems sufficient for the price.

Works well - wish it had 16bit dimming but for a dmx driver with 8ampa per channel you can’t beat the price.
