Boy, these sure did then job of pinning my lift chair cover with arm rest pockets to the chair. The pins I was using were becoming warped/bent and the 5 inch safety pins were too big. These were just right for the job.

I should've checked my tape measure to see just how big 3 inches is. They are nicely made and seem to be of high quality stainless steel.I was looking for something to pull replacement elastic through a waistband. I think they'll work, but it'll be tight.They'd be better suited for thick things.

these safety pins were just the right size for my project but they weren't strong enough. thy worked but begn to pull apart soon after my project was complete and put into use. also not very sharp, hard to insert through 2 layers of fabric. definitely not what i expected.
