These sticks cannot be stored inside the bottom of the controller. They are too big.

In my opinion, these stick are far better than the original stock sticks. These have a much wider head/crown shape which makes it a lot more tactile and easier to control, especially when the sticks are pushed near the edge of their range. You have a lot more grip and control near the edges. Plus, these come in a cooler colour, even if they don't match the rest of the colour scheme. For me they do since I also bought a red and black lanyard for the controller.
