I needed to recess some nails on my deck. These did the job perfectly. I could have spent over half the amount for one tool or get all of these for a modest price. Nice additional to my tool case.

I found that the chisels cut good and these chisels came cut mostly even and all have sharp ends. They seem to be made of strong steel and did not chip the chisel ends when I shaved off a piece of metal bracket. Over time, we have to put most chisels on a grinding wheel to sharpen.This set is positively better than most of our used ones that have hammer marks deep into the ends. The Renekton brand in my opinion is better than average craftsmanship and should last a lot of years. The punches did a nice even hole. We probably will not use the case they included since we keep all our tools in tool box compartments. The case is a nice addition for folks that need it. It did include a chisel gauge. I am giving a 5 star rating for value and quality, and I do recommend this set.

Overall, this set is alright. Unlike some reviewers, my chisels are sharp and ready to go. The gauge is flimsy and feels poor quality. The chisels work fine but I prefer rubber handle for ease of handling and reducing vibration fatigue on my fingers. I would like to have a few bigger chisels as well.

As I will be re-doing much of the work done by the builders of my home, I was in need of a good punch set. I saw this set and, through the Vine program, ordered it for the jobs ahead. The set, from Renekton, comes neatly wrapped inside a storage roll / pouch that can be tied shut (see pics 1 - 3). The last pics shows the set without the plastic sleeves used for shipping the tools.You get a very nice assortment of chisels and punches (both pointed and flat). All the tools have their respective sizes etched or printed (sorry, I'm unsure) on their side. There is also a handy chisel gauge (the "silver" tool on the bottom of pic 4). They all appear to be well made and of good quality.I've not yet had a chance to put them to real hard use, but I don't expect to have any problems (I'll update if I do). I think this is a very nice set for the money and is a good value.

I got these Renekton Punch and Chisel Set, Includes Taper Punches, Cold Chisels, Pin Punches, Center Punches, Chisel Gauge and Black Oxford Packet, 16 Pieces in and they work great.This is a nice set , the case works very well for organization. Each chisel and punch have there own storage pouch. The case it self feels durable and thick with two holes at the top if you wanted to hang it up. There’s also a strap so when you roll it up you just tie it to keep it shut , it a excellent case.You get 3 chisels , 2 center punches and 10 other punches plus a chisel gauge. (See pictures) there all different sizes and I really like that each one has the size on it, this always comes in handy. These all have some weight to them too they feel durable. I tried them out on a few things in my barn and everything worked good. Hopefully they will hold up well over time.Overall a very solid durable set with a well organized chase.I would recommend this

Over the years I have used many many punches and chisel's and have broken and bent many too!!I have seen good ones and really bad ones with some the metal is so brittle that it shatters when you hit it or so soft that the metal just bends and rolls.I am pleased to say that this set is just right with not too brittle and not too soft so hardened well indeed.That is where my praises stop though. The workmanship is somewhat crude with one of the chisel's tip sharpened at multiple angles. Can be corrected but should not have to. Another chisel has the cutting end made at a slight slant hard to see but it is.The markings are hard to read and look like lazer etched and not stamped. My eyes need stamped markings.Overall for what it does it does well and that is not chip or easily bend and that is why I was able to give it 4 stars.They are fully functional and held up to my test beating just fine so even with some minor flaws this is a strong but not finely tuned set of punches and chisel's.Hope this helps and thanks.

This is a really decent punch and chisel set for the price. I work industrial maintenance so a good punch and chisel set is a must. This has 3 chisels. The chisels are not sharpened correctly as you can see from my photos. I can fix that but with a new set this should not need to be done. This also comes with 2 center punches. You get a 1/8” and 3/16”. I have used the 3/16” center punch and it has done the job. So far I haven’t had any problems with the ends pancaking out. With this set you also get 5 tapered punches. I use these for aligning bolt holes and none have bent which is great. To top all this off there is also 5 pin punches. Those to have worked really well with none of the tips bending on me. This is not a large set with the largest chisel being a 5/8”. This is a really decent set that will get most jobs done. This is a good quality set for the price. You even get a chisel and punch gauge all in a roll up pouch. I would definitely recommend.I really hope I was able to answer some of the questions you may have had about this punch and chisel set.
