I used these springs with 1 1/4 long 3/8s bolts and washers to upgrade the plastic suspension bumpers on my Cub Cadet ZT1. I also used the rubber spring caps from Grasshopper which are a perfect fit. Installation was pretty quick and simple. Mower now has a bit more suspension making it easier on my back when traversing rough terrain..

As the headline of this review says, you might want to use these instead of cheap 3 inch "seat springs for bobber motorcycle". Made of better metal, the support provided is much more comfortable, and it's by far easier to get a bolt and washer inside each spring for mounting purposes.I will upload photos of the install soon, and will remove this "notification message" in my edit.
