I purchased this after my original charger quit working. As the place I had purchased the weed eater and charger no longer carried this brand I selected this item. I have only used it twice so far (I've had it less than a week) and it performed as intended. If this continues to perform in this manner I will be very satisfied. If it fails prematurely I will try to update this review.

The original charger was heavy and big. This charger is light and easy to store. Works very well. Would recommend.

Well worth it seems to do the job just fine actually will probably purchase a second one for a back up so always have one ready to go, as with any battery operated equipment, you always wish the charge lasted longer.

I cannot believe I am using cordless lawnmower. The battery last a long time . I get my job done with out having to recharge it until I am finished . It’s a good deal .

Nice replacement to my OEM. I like the smaller size of this one. So far, working as it should. It does have a little fan inside that people complain is noisy. I don't feel it is that bad at all, it's not like I keep this thing next to me in the living room watching TV! I believe the fan should improve the life as my OEM didn't have that.

My Kobalt battery charger was NOT fully charging my 80 volt batteries. I could not get online help to relate the problem to the Charger itself. So took a gamble and bought this new charger. That did the trick. Now my lithium batteries are fully charged, and the power of my blower is back full force. I had bought an additional battery as well, which is great---I now have two good batteries to perform the jobs I have around the yard and deck.
