The Briggs and Stratton part is obsolete so I searched the part # for an aftermarket compatible part and this one was at the top of the list. I couldn't find anywhere to see if it would fit on my Briggs and Stratton engine in the parts description information. I purchased it anyway hoping it would fit being it was at the top of the list in my search results and it did not fit.
