Reading the description I believed these were the mounting bolts for the ladder. They are actually the bolts to hold the steps to the ladder frame. I kept them anyway just in case I have a problem with the steps in the future.

The bolt kits were not what they were advertised to be. To short, was on the verge of not being able to use them. Also not designed to use with all ladder rails. They are coated not stainless steel. I could have bought better bolts for less money at my local hardware store.

The Diameter of the bolts are not fit through the holes of steps

These bolts were smaller then the original bolts. The head didn't fir the curve of the support tube ans I had to keep an eye on their position as tightened. They will probably be OK. I do believe I used an extra washer with each bolt.

I live in a 25-year-old condominium complex, and as a member of the Board of Directors I'm often called upon to help with small problems. In this case, the bolts on the in-ground pool ladder were loose and corroded, and one was missing the nut. Tightening the existing nuts was difficult due to the corrosion, and likewise I couldn't get a replacement nut on the bolt with the missing nut. I thought about getting a new ladder, but a replacement is over $200, and beyond the issue with the bolts, there was nothing really wrong with the ladder as the corrosion was limited to the bolts. During my search on Amazon for a replacement ladder, I happened onto these bolts. The specs and design said they should work with this size and design of ladder, so I took a chance. They were indeed a perfect fit... once I was finally able to remove the old bolts, I reassembled the ladder with these and it's now back in perfect order. For $20 and a few minutes of my time, I was able to save the association over $180 for the purchase of a replacement. The ladder is as good as new, and everyone is happy that it's safe again. The next time there's an issue, I'll immediately look to Amazon and save myself some time!
