Foil that came with seal was stuck to the roll and damaged. This foil is supposed to fold over frayed ends. Installation requires that seal be attached partially to one side and then rolled over onto two sides but fully along top. The crooked glue made a produced lump preventing an even seal. This lump had to be cut for the proper seal to be made. High temp black RTV was needed to seal frayed ends.

Product seems to work fine as installed. It came with no instructions on how to install it. Fortunately found a video on Youtube that gave me enough of an idea on how to install it. The challenge was getting the corners to work, where the gasket bunches up. I had to do some creative trimming to make it so I could close the stove door, and used some of the thermo tape that came with the gasket to patch over the trimming. That aside, it took several days of running the stove for the gasket to "cure" (it had a burning plastic smell which gradually subsided). Stove works fine now.
