Company sent us the clips free of charge to hold the shields in place. The shields work well on the bug machine.

These totally work. It takes 6 weeks to affect the breeding cycle (lots of eggs and larva still have to hatch and mature to then be killed by the machine). Last summer I got 2 bites in my yard. I live in mosquito hell (southern New Hampshire, heavily wooded). I run 2 machines set up diagonally across my yard about 50 yards apart. The sticker paper is covered with black flies (no-see-'ums) and mosquitos with in a few days. I change the paper every month from may1st until August. I have very few biting bugs after that. They run from late April to October. A few years ago 2 children got EEE in my town and one died. I will always run these machines. They gave me my back yard back and my kids are safe. Remember, it takes 6 weeks to notice a difference.

The shields did not work at all on mosquitoes, I am very dissapointed with them. We caught every single bug but mosquitoes.
