This product did eliminate the "Service Trailer Brake System" from the DIC for one towing session, as soon as I unhooked the trailer the warning was back and one again I have no trailer brakes. The package clearly state "Lifetime Warranty" and to contact 797979 and text Help17, there was no response, thanx to Amazon I was able to return this junk for A FULL REFUND, I have replace with a OEM unit and it is working fine after multiple hook ups and disconnects. These are a real pain to replace, do your self a favor and buy OEM, worth the extra 10 bucks.
