The cords are a bit long, but that could be useful if you have to stretch it across the dash.

Be careful, the one I received was not plug and play, truck side was perfect but the harness didn't fit the brake controller side even though the controller u bought is listed in the item description. I had to splice it together. I bought the Hopkins impulse controller p/n 47235 and it didn't fit.
