Tip:
The heating bulb can be used for 24 hours. It is recommended to turn on the bulb for more than 4 hours each time to prolong the service life. The surface temperature of this bulb is very high when it is working. Please do not test the temperature by hand.

Bearded dragon loves to sit and look outside the window. This lamp is a great portable option so he doesn’t get too cold.

My small tortoise is in a two room box so this is perfect to have one light on in one room or the other, or both if need be. I keep one over his swimming bowl so the water is always warm for when he wants to take a bath. I love that it comes with extra bulbs.

We had this light for about 6 months and had no issues until this morning. I turned the lights on and went to move them closer together. The metal on the outside of the lights touched and there was a nice pop and spark. As I went to unplug it, one of the lights popped and sparked again and then the lights stopped working. EDIT:The seller reached out and offered a full refund. It's good to know they will fix the problem even if it's months past the return window.

Wonderful lamp! People who complain about the bulbs obviously are either touching them with their bare hands (oil from your fingers can cause heat issues resulting in the bulbs going out sooner) or they've just never had heat bulbs. They go out every now and then lol. Heat isn't a great mixture when it comes to electrical items.Haven't had a single issue with this lamp. Does exactly what I need it to do! Would most certainly purchase again. 10/10 recommendation for smaller reptiles or tarantulas if you just need to increase the temps by a few degrees.

Awesome double light setup....dimmer, choice of which bulb is on, and timer in a small package. Works very well...bulbs aren't anything to brag about...but two of each and the awesome fixture at this price? Can't beat it!!! Plus, the articulated fixture allows me to shine UVB at an angle through the small area of screen in my lid and shine across entire vivarium...UVB can't penatrate glass or plastic.

Previously used a standard UVA daylight heat bulb with a dome fixture on a timer outlet, but was annoyed that the bulbs wouldn't last a month at most. Looking for an alternative, I am using this fixture. It works great and so far the bulbs have held up. However, I feel like the built in timer has been a downgrade. There are only 3 options for reoccurring time 2h, 4h, and 6 h. I had my previous fixture at 10 hours. By default the timer isn't set and the light must be turned on/off manually. If the fixture loses power, there is no battery backup, so it loses whatever timer you have set and defaults back to turned off. This has been a problem with the occasional power outages at my home, and furthermore means that I cannot use it with the more sofisticated timer outlet that I used with my previous light. Still a good value, just frustrated with the limitations

The lamp itself is clever and works out fairly well but there are a couple of minor annoyances with it. 1st, you can only set it to 6hour run times and most folks with reptiles run lamps for 12 hours, secondly, like the title says, the bulbs are only for heat, they DO NOT EMIT UVA/UVB LIGHT also one of the bulbs showed up already blown. The biggest annoyance however is the fact that this Chinese company knows it’s scamming people and will offer you a partial refund of like 5-7$ if you spend the time complaining to Amazon about it but they’ve already screwed you for the money and it’s a pain to return the item so they get you if you just don’t have the time or patience to deal with the return process and finding a new lamp.The lamp and Amazon customer service are great but this product gets a 1 star review for being deceitful and lying to me just to make a couple bucks.
