Just bought on January 22, 2025 and both bulbs have burned out. Light is only on during daylight hours in a newer home. So electrical not the issue.

This has been a lifesaver for a little lizard we rescued out of our yard. It was touch and hi but now he's thriving with his little lamp! Easy to use and comes with two bulbs!

The most important thing to note that this is advertised as a UVA and UVB light and it is NOT! (See photo of my UV test strip). If it had UV the chameleon would be purple. For me, that's fine because I would only use a tube UVB anyway and just wanted these for heat, but it angers me that this false advertising could lead to metabolic bone disease in reptiles that the owners buy this believing it is UV. So please note that it is NOT UVB! Also, it claims to come with a 25W bulb and a 35W bulb but they are all 25 watt they just took a pen and marked a 3 on some of them. I am using these for my hatchlings in 72L tubs over a slate basking platform and the surface temp does get warm enough, so it serves my purposes but the false advertising that could severely harm or kill animals is disgusting. I truly hope no one believes it and their beloved pet gets sick

They work ok one of the bulbs burnt out in a week, most likely just a faulty bulb as the other one is still working just fine. Take it or leave it

I'll be honest it did not last at all. Burned out after one bulb burnt out. The electrical wires burned and unrepairable.. it was on for a while. I didn't expect much for the price.

I thought I preferred the lights with a gooseneck so I could aim the light better but every brand version I tried just did not last, and i'm not talking about the bulb all my other lamps would fail after a few months, simply stop working and I have used 4-5 other turtle lights with the same kind of bulb but the bulbs and fixtures would always not last! I think the dimmers were just not good but this light ( with no dimmer ) is lasting and the bulb is lasting longer too now that I think about it.This is the way to go, good lasting product!

I purchased this item for my turtle. it's just what I needed with the right amount of brightness an it's built sturdy .small an it wasn't expensive like the others I seen, i recommend it to anyone .
