I usually wrap my shoes in plastic grocery bags and then put them in the suitcase. But then they end up getting smooshed and it’s hard to pack clothes around them.I never thought about getting something like this before because I thought it would take up a lot of room. It does take up room, but what I realized is you can pack other things in the cubes with your shoes. I was able to pack some socks in with my shoes in the main compartment and a thin sleeveless blouse and thin cardigan in the top compartment (which will also fit flatter shoes) to hold them in place and protect them from getting wrinkled.They’re really thin when empty and zipped up, so they are easy to store in a tight spot. Use for your shoes or a compartmentalized packing cube for other items.

Let’s be real, these won’t hold three pairs of shoes unless they’re small or thin. You’re not going to fit three pairs of Jordan’s in these, but you could fit a pair of Jordan’s, a pair of flats and a pair of flip flops in them. But they’re sturdy and well made and they’re washable. They’re definitely a must-have for traveling if you don’t want to get shoe shmutz on your clothes or the interior of your suitcase.
