This was recommended to me so despite some of the negative reviews, I bought it. Yes, it comes shipped to you in a flat package, which means that the brush which should be rounded, is not. It's squished; however, that being said I've used it a few times and as I've used it the bristles have mostly returned to their "rounded" shape. My CPAP has a climate line so I use the smaller brush, but it's a pretty tight fit. I've found if I'm patient (not always my strong suit) it works pretty well. As another reviewer suggested, I tried using it to dry out the climate line. I wash out the tubing first thing in the morning, but it still has a fair amount of water droplets by bedtime. Running the brush through the tubing helps dry it out pretty well. I'm giving it four stars because it does seem to clean the tubing okay, but it is just more difficult to use than I think it should be.

Giod product. Cleaned my hoses but I wish the spring cable with the brushes was a little stiffer.

It’s flexible and easy to use though a little squirmy. It is so far holding up to several tube runs and doesn’t seem to want to poke a hole in the tube. UV and ozone won’t remove anything in the tube so a brush like this is needed.

I bought this in Nov 2021 for my mom. She used it, later her rest home used it, and today I used it for the first time - in a bathroom with a window and bright sunlight. After washing and rinsing the tube and hanging it and the brush over the shower curtain rod, the sunlight shining on the large brush in front of me showed clearly that it was losing bristles near the end. I removed the loose ones and in the process of doing so, more bristles came loose. Near the end of the brush they were easy to dislodge. The LAST thing I need is tiny plastic bristles in mom's CPAP hose making their way into her lungs. NO THANK YOU!! This thing is going in the trash! And when I shop for the next CPAP brush, I'll be looking specifically - in sunlight - to see that bristles aren't easily dislodged near the end of the brush.

This was amazing, cleaned my cpap hose up a treat, I had no idea how dirty the hose had become until I used this. Much better than just rinsing the hose out. Also the hose brushes are a different size on each end. My Cpap hose needs the smaller one. A brilliant product

I used this brush to clean the standard sized (22mm) CPAP air tube shown in the picture below, and the bristled end was a perfect fit to scrub the interior surface of the tube with the soapy solution (with Dawn) that I was instructed to use for cleaning my CPAP equipment. I think it is important to gently scrub the interior of the CPAP air tube to remove any possible growth of mold, mildew, or bacteria, because any stuff like that will be inhaled directly into your lungs. The length of the coiled spring-like wire that is the handle of the brush is just sufficiently stiff that I could push it all the way through my standard 6-foot air tube. The coiled wire handle is also sufficiently flexible to allow the bristled end to go around gentle curves, but NOT sharp curves, so you must straighten out your CPAP air tube as you push the brush down through it. I kept a soapy water solution inside the tube whilst pushing the brush through it, which required a fair bit of juggling, but I think the interior is better cleaned this way than if I simply sloshed the soapy water through it, which was my previous method. Cleaning the air tube better is particularly important if you have used your CPAP while sick and had the unfortunate experience of sneezing into the tube or otherwise contaminating the interior surface, which I have. However, this brush is just a bit too broad to fit into the narrower white plastic tube that connects this main air tube to my mask. But that small white tube is also only a foot long or so, so a much smaller brush would fit it better. Also, I am NOT sure how well this would work for the standard gray plastic Respironics air tube that has the integrated heating element in it, as that tubing has much deeper indentations on its circumference that this replacement tubing that I now use. I am also not sure if scrubbing with the bristles would scrape off the insulation on that heating element if you used this bristle brush on tubing with the heating element, which strikes me as undesirable and potentially dangerous. As I do not use the humidifier any more and thus no longer use the heated tubing, I plan to continue to use this brush for the plain plastic air hose shown in this picture.
