This product is far from heavy duty, the ball is held on by a smaller revit and unit itself is pretty light weight. I’ll probably keep it but the description isn’t very accurate.

Used on a trailer, left on a College Campus, while child was moving out for summer. Easy to install and remove. It is a simple, inexpensive lock for our purpose.Would not suggest as a permanent security lock for expensive equipment. The style looks to be, with minor effort, easy to break off.

This will help to discourage people from stealing a trailer but in all honesty an angle grinder and 5 seconds will cut right through. Use this as part of your system from securing your trailer but it is not an end-all be-all. Anybody with at least a little ambition will get past this single device.
