Had to replace a broke slider door handle in an older home, couldn't find comparable quality until I tried this. Metal parts make it a better match for the door and should make the hook used to close the door from the completely open position seems much sturdier than plastic ones. Only drawback is there is no locking tab to turn - not an issue for the en suite bathroom in this case.

I want to finally install this product, just to find out, there is no actual lock, even though it says sliding door lock. Of course, now it is too late to return the items.

Used these on a pair of older pocket doors. The fit, installation and studiness of the latches is excellent. Much better than I anticipated. They come with black screws which meant I didn't have to paint stainless screws. Newer latches are narrower so I was really happy to find this size. Installed in less than 10 min with just a screw driver. Highly recommend.

So to be honest, we didn't read the instructions and were planning on just shoving it on and screwing it into the door. If you do that you are probably going to scratch the door. The instructions show how to open up the hardware so it slips right on without any damage and then tightening it back on.Once it's installed its really nice. I really like the look of the hardware, and it makes my pocket door look so great.

After ordering and returning two others because their sizes weren't fitting, I finally found this for my walk in closet door. It fit perfectly and the color coincided with the other door handles. It has great quality and looks classy. Recommend purchasing.

Updated all door fixtures in the house, went to 4 hardware suppliers trying to find this in nickel with no luck. Wasted a ton of time, checked Amazon, found the right part in seconds and it was a perfect match for the old gold worn out latch. Easy to install and works as it should.

I have old pocket doors. They were installed in the 1960's, and the handles were changed once before, in about 1990. The handles were showing their age. These are nice units, well made, and they fit exactly to replace the old ones.

these look wonderful, are sturdy and easy to install (per our carpenter) for the pocket doors into our den. gave just 4 stars because of the 2 ordered, one had stripping of the screws and could not be installed. but, return and replacement was easy and quick!!!
