If it’s going to rain, I want to be carrying a chic umbrella and this is so beautiful. It’s hard to see in the picture, but the handle is a duck’s head. Makes rainy days happier.

The print design of this umbrella (the "Camont" option) is why I got it... I love the peacocks, lemon trees, chickens, ducks, greenery, flowers. It is so pretty! The umbrella mechanism is also very good quality. It feels solid and the open button works really well. The duck handle is pretty cute too. Totally recommend this umbrella!

The website describes this a auto open and auto close. This is not auto close. Very expensive. Also, this doesn’t close folded. So it’s quite long when kept. You would need a large bag to carry this. There is not strap to hang it or hook it on to something either.

When I first pulled the umbrella out of the package, the first thing I noticed was that the handle was scuffed and paint was chipped off. I was disappointed but I thought well, as long as the umbrella works, I’m happy. We finally got some rainy weather and this morning I go to open it, and the button to release it was so jammed I wondered if I was pressing the right thing- not to mention the button itself was also scratched up. It’s very very hard to open. Once I actually got the umbrella open, I was very dismayed to see the frame was already broken, with metal pieces disconnected and dangling, highlighted in photo 3. This was clearly a used umbrella, or just a factory reject. Not worth keeping, I returned for a refund. Play it safe and just purchase directly from the Rifle Paper site.
