cool umbrella. I really thing the handle is what makes this the umbrella to buy. I got it for my kid who is going off to college. Nothing worse than being in a hurry for class and being stuck on the other side of campus in the ran. He's a boy, so planning for rain isn't in his cards. Easy to attach to a bag.

This is one of the best umbrellas I have ever owned. It is very sturdy. The button to open it isn’t too sensitive and I love that you can also release it by pressing the button again. I haven’t used it in a windy situation but it does look and feel like it would be up to the challenge of a pretty strong wind. Compact enough to fit nicely in the car.

I am glad I collected this umbrella. The construction of this umbrella is very sturdy and does not leave one wanting a better assembly. When opening the umbrella, it does not get weak along the shaft connectors where I often feel a slight twist as a possible option to the downfall of the umbrella as a whole.When I saw the handle I was a bit reserved as to whether or not it would be worthwhile for an umbrella. I am actually surprised by the handle as it helps me to keep hold of the umbrella when winds are blowing and control the direction easy enough. The handle has a good grip ability as it is not small and nearly non-existent like many umbrellas I have used creating difficulty of keeping a tight hold on it.I actually think there is something to say for the 10 ribs for the umbrella seem to add the proper support as one should expect to hold back the water and most certainly the wind. This umbrella does not give much to wind gusts allowing you to walk confidently not waiting for the umbrella to collapse. The fabric feels like it is higher quality than other umbrellas I have used in the past. It feels like it is made of higher quality helping to repel water and it shakes off easy to be put away.Overall, this is a great purchase for the price point. I have not been a big umbrella user in the past, but I am certainly keeping this one around me for my time outdoors in the PNW. The handle is a good application, though I do not see myself necessarily using the hook aspect often, but if you are seeking a sturdy quality umbrella then you should highly consider this one for your needs.
