Review for Right Angle Drill Adapter: 105 degreesDespite the first words in the title describing this as a 'Right Angle' drill adapter, it's not really. It's 105 degrees, not 90 degrees. And therein lies it's value.You can buy a more versatile 90-degree drill adapter, with or without an adjustable clutch, and likely rated for higher torque and speeds than this little gem. I own a couple of those 90 degree ones, from major power tool companies, and they're fine, as long as you have the clearance on both planes to use them. The advantage of this unit? If you're working on an inside corner of a cabinet, for example, the traditional 90 degree adapter doesn't do you any good. The head is still too large to get in close to one wall, and the too-large body of the drill is now in the way against a different wall.In contrast: this adapter has a tiny head, since it only accepts 5/16 hex bits (including screwdriver or drill bits). The 105 degree angle means the body of the drill leans away from the adjacent wall, which lets you work closer to a corner.Where this tool excels: drilling and screwing on an inside corner. You'll need to use 'quick change' drill bits, since there is no adjustable clutch. Use slow to medium drill speeds, and take breaks to allow the unit to dispel accumulated heat if you're drill metal, etc.Where you don't want to use this: anywhere where clearance is not an issue with a traditional, more heavy-duty, 90 degree adapter. The gear machining isn't that smooth on this piece, so I wouldn't expect it to hold up well under high-speed use, either.Note that this kit includes 2 adapters of different lengths. Use the shortest one where it fits, since there's probably less stress on the shorter shaft. For my needs, it's the longer shaft that's especially useful, since it gives additional clearance between the drill body and adjacent walls.

I hate to think about how many times I wish I had these on hand. When working on home projects it seems that there’s always a screw or not that I can’t get to because my power drills are all just a little too long.These Right Angle Drill Adapters are perfect for letting me get square to the nut or screw I am working with. There are two adapters in the set as well as a slip on handle to keep them from spinning as well as a small set of hex bits that always come in handy.These are very easy to use and they work perfectly as intended. They run smoothly, start and stop without any issues, and even after using them continuously for over 15 minutes, they did not get hot.I stored mine in the carry case that my drill came with so when needed, they are always readily accessible. this is a good product that will surely come in handy many times and it will not break the bank.
