You get what it says you get.Works like the other 1394 firewire cables.It's black, instead of the normal look, so I like that as I can tell it apart quickly, but, it does blend in with other black cables so it doesn't stick out...and that's fine for me.

This is a very nice firewire cable.Made by RIIEYOCA, this is 1.8M IEEE 1394 Firewire 4-Pin male to 9-Pin male cable. The cable is solidly built, and is perfect for connecting my older firewire devices, in particular my older video cameras, to my computer.I have all sorts of video camera video tapes (miniDV and HDV) from the 2000-2010 era that I am transferring to my computer. This cable lets me connect to the video camera and then into my MacBook Pro. (Depending on the computer that you are connecting into, and the ports that your computer has, you may need to plug this adapter into another adapter to make your final successful connection to your computer.)This is a perfect cable for transferring over my digital camera and camcorder. 5 stars.
