I built a Di2 equipped carbon fiber bicycle for my wife. The Dura-Ace battery installs inside the seat tube. But the Frameset does not come with this mount nor does the frameset. Most bike shops will carry the battery mount for the bicycle frames they sell. So they only carry the battery mount that fits the bicycle brands that they represent.So I was forced to order this item online. All one needs to know is the appropriate inside diameter of their seatpost and order the correct size.If you are building a Di2 equipped bicycle with an internal seatpost battery, if you don't already have one of these mounting kits for your frameset/seatpost, you will need this mount.
